    "Armin?" You said. You took a few more steps into the forest, careful not to draw too much attention. Going around a large tree, you saw him, leaning on the old bark and peering up at the sky through the thick layer of leaves.

    "It's pretty, isn't it? Say, joining the Survey Corps has it's benefits. You get to see the sun slip behind the horizon, not some wall. I've always love coming out after dinner to watch the sky." he smiled and took a few steps toward you.

    "Yeah, it's amazing." you smiled back. This side of Armin, you hadn't seen it in a while. It was nice to finally experience his reactions to things that amazed him, after having him hide his emotions more and more over time.

    "Do you... do you wanna watch it with me after dinner?" he said.

    "Yes." you said, giving him a small nod. "I'd really like that."

    Letting out a short sigh, you sat down on the ground. "Sparring with Jean is exhausting, he never gives up."

    Armin flopped down beside you, and gave a small laugh. "It's not really a bad thing, he just strives for improvement. You two are a tough match, looks like."


    Why is no one talking? Should I say something?


    "Last night, was that your, uh, first... kiss?" he said, awkwardly pulling up his boots.

    Shocked, you turned your head and gave him an embarrassed face. "...of course not! Why? Was it that bad?"

    "No! It wasn't bad, I was actually surprised at how good it was. I was just wondering." he turned red and gave his boots a small twist. "I also wanted to maybe have another one." he said in a small voice.

    "Maybe later."
